FRED B. COOK SR

   Services for Fred B. Cook Sr., 82, of Monterey were held Friday, April 7,
2000 at Eva Church of God under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
   The Revs. Gordon Finlay and Tim Taylor officiated.
   Burial followed at Calhoun Family Cemetery under the direction of Young's.
   Cook died Wednesday, April 5, 2000 in Natchez.
   He was born June 3, 1917 in West Monroe to James and Mary Cook.  He was a
member of First United Methodist Church in West Monroe and retired salesman
from Ely and Walker in 1969.
   He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
