Johnnie Vera Cranford

   Services for Johnnie Vera Cranford, 83, of Ferriday were held Sunday March 4, 2000 at
Young's Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Young's.
   The Dr. Charles Heltman and Rev. Roger Johnson officiated.
   Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young's.
   Cranford died Friday, March 3, 2000 at Ferriday.
   She was born February 8, 1917 in Pineville, La. to John and Alma Hill.  She was a homemaker
and a sales clerk.  She had been a resident of Ferriday for 45 years and a member of First Baptist
Church in Ferriday.
   She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ory Keith Jenkins, William "Bill" Cranford Sr.;
one daughter, Nancy J. Smith; ten brothers and sisters and her parents John and Alma Hill.
