CROSS, MRS. IOLA DENHAM

   Funeral services for Mrs. Iola Denham Cross, 87, of Ferriday, will be held
Thursday, July 24, 1997 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Young's Funeral Home in
Ferriday.
   The Rev. Lyndle Bullard will officiate and burial will follow at Natchez
City Cemetery under the direction of Young's.
   Visitation will be today (Wednesday) July 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral
home.
   Mrs. Cross died July 23, 1997 at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.
   She was born February 28, 1910 in Sicily Island.
   A retired teacher from the Concordia Parish School System, Mrs. Cross was a 
member of Sevier Memorial United Methodist Church.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Cross.
