VELMA MAY CUPIT

   Services for Velma May Cupit, 66, of Vidalia were held
Monday, September 6, 1999 at 10 a.m. at Laird Funeral Home
Chapel under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
   The Revs. Eugene Cotten and Donnie Cooper officiated.
   Burial followed at the Natchez City Cemetery under the
direction of Laird.
   Cupit died Saturday, September 4, 1999 at Natchez Regional
Medical Center.
   She was born August 2, 1933 in Jefferson County, Miss.  She
was retired from the Concordia Parish School System.
   She was preceded in death by her son Mark Cupit.
