FIELDS, ALICE LEONARD

     Services for Alice Leonard Fields, 71, of Ferriday were held Monday,
July 12, 1999 at 11 a.m. at St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore under the
direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
     The Rev. L. B. Oliver officiated.
     Burial followed at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia.
     Fields died Tuesday, July 6, 1999 at her residence.
     She was born September 17, 1927 in Frogmore to Harrison and Emma Campbell
Leonard.
     She was a homemaker and a member of St. James Baptist Church.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Fields, four brothers,
Harrison Leonard, Andrew Leonard, Sydney Leonard and Rev. Nathaniel Leonard;
one sister, Lillian Wallace; one son, Eddie Lee Leonard and one daughter, Emma
Leonard.
