GULLEDGE, ANNA BELLE BRIGGS

   Services for Anna Bele Briggs Gulledge, 62, of Vidalia were held Sunday,
April 19, 1998 at 11 a.m. at First United Pentecostal Church in Ferriday
under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
   Rev. Gary Howington officiated.
   Burial followed at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the 
direction of Comer.
   She died April 16 at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday.
   Gulledge was born February 1, 1936 in Catahoula Parish to Preston and 
Mary W. Briggs.  She was a homemaker and life-long resident of Catahoula and
Concordia Parish and a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Ferriday.
   She was preceded in death by her son, Preston Eugene Walker and two 
sisters, Bertha Rae Davis and Hazel Young.
