JAMES EDWARD HONEA

   Graveside services for James E. Honea, 85, of Kilgore, Texas, who died
Thursday, March 4, 1999, at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport,
were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, at the Natchez City Cemetery with
Father Alfred Camp officiating and Father Paul Kunumpurum assisting.  Arrange-
ments were under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore.
   Honea was born January 22, 1914 in Ferriday to James Powers Honea and
Alamo White Honea.
   He was a graduate of Ferriday High School and was a retired veteran of
the U.S. Air Force serving during World War II.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, George Honea, and a
sister, Mickey Honea Murray.
