MILDRED LAVERNE JACKSON

   Services for Mildred Laverne Jackson, 68, of Jena were held Thursday, 
October 10, 1996 from the chapel of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of Jena.
   The Rev. Rick Feazell officiated.
   Burial followed at Belah Cemetery in Trout under the direction of Hixson
Bros.
   Mrs. Jackson died October 8 at St. Francis Cabrini Medical Center in
Alexandria.
   She was a retired state employee with Pinecrest State School in Pineville.
