THOMAS E. JANUARY

   Services for Thomas E. January, 69, a resident of Acme and Monterey
for 42 years, were held Tuesday, March 30, 1999 at 10 a.m. at the chapel
of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
   The Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiated.
   Burial followed at Era Baptist Church Cemetery in Monterey under the
direction of Young's.
   January died March 27, 1999 at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria.
   He was born March 11, 1930 in Bay St. Louis, Mo.
   He was retired from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries
and was of the Catholic faith.
   He was preceded in death by his wife, Althea N. January.
