KATHERINE KING KENNON

   Services for Katherine King Kennon, 61, of Harrisonburg
were held Wednesday, March 3, 1999 at 10 a.m. at The First
United Pentecostal Church in Jonesville under the direction
of Young's Funeral Home.
   The Revs. Jack Knapp and David Kennon officiated.
   Burial followed at Jena Cemetery under the direction of
Young's.
   Kennon died Monday, March 1, 1999 at Riverland Medical
Center.
   She was born September 8, 1937 to Charles Sterling and
Marie Parker King.  She was employed as a chef by the 
Catahoula Parish Sheriff's Office.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Cleveland
Kennon and daughter, Lula Parker.
