ALBERT E. KRAUSE SR.

   Services for Albert E. Krause, 81, of Sicily Island were held Thursday
December 26, 1996 at First United Methodist Church in Sicily Island under the 
direction of Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday.
   The Rev. Jon Lord officiated.
   Burial followed at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction
of Young's.
   Mr. Krause died December 25 at Natchez Regional Medical Center.
   He was born September 8, 1915 in Sicily Island.  He was a retired petroleum
product inspector for the state of Louisiana and a farmer.  He was a member of
First United Methodist Church in Sicily Island.
   He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Markham Krause and Fred O. Krause,
and two grandchildren, John Thomas Krause and Derrick Bruit.
