Father Alfred Camp officiated. Burial followed at the Natchez Cemetery under direction of Laird. Bianca died Wednesday, April 25 in Natchez. She was born February 18, 1913 in Vidalia to Anthony and Lena Cangemi. She was a member of St. Mary Basilica. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Bianca Sr., a son, Anthony Bianca and a daughter- in-law, Carol Bianca. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Bianca and his wife Betty, Shreveport; Sam Bianca Jr., Natchez; two daughters and their husbands, Carolyn and Robert Hoggatt, Natchez, Ms.; Mary and Harry Creighton, Clayton; two brothers, Willie "Jimmy" Cangemi, natchez; Anthony Cangemi, Mobile, Ala.; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson and a host of nieces and nephews. She was born November 17, 1923 in New Era to Rowena and Eddie Morace. She was the cafe manager at Lumbro Stockyards and was a member of Hill Memorial Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday school and arranged flowers for church services. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and sisters-in-law, E. D. and Edna Morace and Bud and Novie Morace. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Edgar W. He was employed by the Louisiana Office of Conservation for 15 years and retired in 1995. He also served four years with the Air Force from August 1950 to August 1954. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Genorl Harris. He was born July 5, 1915 in Tensas to Burton Wesley and Katherine Berry. He owned and operated St. Joseph Elevator Co., Inc. since 1949, was a member of the St. Joseph Rotary Club, a Charter member of Lake Bruin Country Club and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Cross Keys Bank Board. Mr. Berry also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a lifelong resident of Tensas Parish. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ed Berry and one sister, Elizabeth Lynch. "Dick" Griffin died Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at LBJ Medical Center in Johnson City. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Marble Falls, Texas under the direction of Clements Wilcox Funeral Home. Bro. Max Copeland will officiate. He was born in 1914 in Bivins, Texas to Samuel and Era Liles Griffin. He served as Associate Pastor of Magnolia Baptist Church and then as Pastor at Woods Chapel Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. He entered the U.S. Army as a Chaplain in 1942. He was pastor of the First Baptist Church in Ferriday and retired after 20 years in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ronald Griffin; two sisters, Valaree Blair and Dorothy Bradley and one daughter, Sharla Griffin. Survivors include his sister Myrtis Gaines, Stephenville, Texas; two brothers, Samuel Griffin, Lincolnton, N.C.; Bobby Griffin, Cat Springs, Texas; three children, Richard Griffin, Marble Falls; Kenneth Griffin, Houston, Texas; Janis West, Sherwood, Ark.; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was a resident of Houston, Texas and was of the Catholic faith. He was employed at Lone Star Stone Company and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war and was a member of the VFW. He also went on to have his own electric company, Key Electric Co. in Florida, and was also a stockbroker. He was preceded in death by his father. He was 32 degree Mason and past Master of Evans Lodge #524 and Commander of Evanston Commandry #58. He was Illustrius Master of Evanston Chapter, High Priest of Evanston Counsil, Knight of the York Cross of Honor, former Vestryman and was also an Eagle Scout.
