MULVIHILL Services for Denis A. Mulvihill, 68, of Natchez and Vidalia were held Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at Laird Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Laird. The Rev. Glenn Harrigill officiated. Burial followed at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird. Mulvihill died Sunday, November 19 at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. He was born May 17, 1932 in Natchez to Denis Martin and Venita Tridle Mulvihill. He was a Korean War Veteran with the rank of Sergeant. He began working with the Vidalia Fire Department in 1965 and served 18 and a half years as Fire Captain and Emergency Medical Technician. He also served as a Special Deputy with the Concordia Parish Sheriff's Department for four years. He served as Concordia Parish Assistant Coroner for two years and as Coroner for two years. He was also employed with Concordia Ambulance Service for seven years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include five sons, Ronnie Mulvihill, White Hall, La.; Donnie Mulvihill, Ala.; Mike Mulvihill and Mark Mulvihill both of Washington State; Denis A. Mulvihill, Vidalia; two daughters, Denice Mulvihill, Jackson, Miss.; Candy Vines, Harrisonburg; two brothers, Louis Mulvihill, Roxie, Miss. and Thomas C. Mulvihill, Dallas, Texas. Pallbearers were Little Bobby Mulvihill, Arthur Lee Mulvihill, Keith Mulvihill, Eddie Benit, Andy Sloan and Steve Sloan. Memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church in Vidalia.
