LEROY H. PRUNTY

   Services for Leroy H. Prunty, 68, of Clayton were held Tuesday,
March 2, 1999 at Clayton Baptist Church under the direction of Young's
Funeral Home.
   The Revs. James Moffett and Willard Sandiford officiated.
   Burial followed at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton under the
direction of Young's.
   Prunty died Saturday, February 27, 1999 at Heritage Nursing Home.
   He was born February 24, 1931 in Danville, Ark. to Mr. and Mrs.
Benjamin Prunty.  He was a retired oil field supervisor and a member
of Clayton Baptist Church.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin
Prunty, six brothers and two sisters.
