RATCLIFF Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the New Hope Pentecostal Church near Sicily Island for Mrs. Pearl G. Ratcliff, 94, of Ferriday. Officiating at the service were Rev. Leroy Fuqua and Rev. Ira Caldwell. Interment was in the New Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home of Ferriday. Mrs. Ratcliff, a resident of Ferriday since 1918, was a member of Leland Pentecostal Church. She died Friday morning in Concordia Parish Hospital after a long illness. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lester Smith of Ferriday and Miss Ruby Lea Ratcliff of St. Louis, Mo.; three sons, Wilson Ratcliff of Waterproof; Louis Ratcliff of Sicily Island and Verby Ratcliff of Monterey; two sisters, Mrs. Onil Clark of Laurel, Miss.; and Miss willie Griffin of Laurel; one brother, Harmon Griffin of Louin, Miss.; 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
