JOHNNIE L. RIGDON

   Services for Johnnie L. Rigdon, 67, of Vidalia were held Monday,
March 29, 1999 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Young's Funeral Home in
Ferriday.
   The Rev. Roy Archer officiated.
   Burial followed at New Pine Hill Cemetery near Sicily Island
under the direction of Young's.
   Rigdon died March 27, 1999 in Vidalia.
   He was born May 23, 1931 in Sicily Island to Versie and R. V. 
Rigdon.
   He was retired TSCT of the United States Air Force and a member
of New Hope Pentecostal Church near Sicily Island.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edward Rigdon,
sister Montiel Tullos and a nephew, Willie Jr. Doyle.
