SKIPPER, RUTH H.

     Services for Ruth H. Skipper, 83, of Tensas Parish were held Sunday,
December 13, 1998 at 2 p.m. at Ferriday Church of God under the direction of
Young's Funeral Home.
     The Revs. Paul Burris and H. C. Glisson officiated.
     Burial followed at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton under the 
direction of Young's.
     She died Friday, December 11, 1998 at Riverland Medical Center.
     Skipper was born August 4, 1915 in Goldsberg, N.C.  She was a member of 
Ferriday Church of God and was a homemaker.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther D. Skipper.
