STUTSON, ELSIE MAE

   Services for Elsie Mae Stutson, 85, of Sicily Island, were held Tuesday,
January 13, 1998 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Sicily Island under the 
direction of Comer Funeral Home of Ferriday.
   The Rev. Paul Kolb officiated assisted by Reverends Willard Sandiford and Ken
Hoots.
   Burial followed at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction
of Comer Funeral Home.
   She died Sunday, January 11, 1998 at Riverland Medical Center in
Ferriday.
   Stutson was born June 30, 1912 in LaSalle Parish.  She was a homemaker and a
member of First Baptist Church in Sicily Island.  She was a resident of Catahoula
Parish since 1931.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon H. Stutson.
