TAYLOR, OPHELIA DAVIS

     Services for Ophelia Davis Taylor, 77, of Ferriday were held Wednesday,
July 28, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church under the direction of 
Concordia Funeral Home.
     The Rev. Dave Mays officiated.
     Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia.
     She died Friday, July 23, 1999 at Natchez Community Hospital.
     Taylor was born June 3, 1922 in Ferriday to Lawyer and Laura Edwards
Davis.
     She was a homemaker and a member of Rising Sun Baptist Church.  She also
served on the Mother's Board and the Usher Board.
