THORNHILL, DESSIE MARIE

   Funeral services for Dessie Marie Thornhill, 63, of Wisner were held Monday
at Wisner First Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Sonny Nugent and the Rev.
Stanley Thrift officiating.
   Interment followed in New Pine Hill Cemetery near Sicily Island under the 
direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
   Mrs. Thornhill died Saturday, July 10, 1993 at St. Francis Cabrini Medical
Center in Alexandria after an extended illness.  She was a resident of Wisner,
a homemaker and a member of Wisner First Pentecostal Church.
