   Services for Jack Tiffee, 68, of Monterey, were held Wednesday,
January 14, 1998 at 2 p.m. at Young's Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday.
   The Reverends Tim Taylor, Russell Crum, Lloyd Trisler and Gordon Finley
officiated.
   Burial followed at the Tiffee family cemetery in Monterey, under the
direction of Young's Funeral Home.
   He died Tuesday, January 12, 1998 at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in
Alexandria.
   Tiffee was born November 9, 1929 in Eva, La.  He was a farmer and a mem-
ber of the Eva Church of God.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Asher Tiffee
and a brother, M.A. Tiffee.
