WATKINS, OSCAR

   Services for Oscar Watkins, 75, of Ferriday were held Tuesday, July 22, 1997
at 11 a.m. at Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
   The Rev. Johnnie Hollins officiated.
   Burial followed at National Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Concordia.
   He died July 17, 1997 at his residence.
   Watkins was born April 22, 1922 in Ferriday to Marshall and Sarah Gray Watkins.
He was self-employed and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
