The Rev. Kibbie Hatfield officiated. Burial followed at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton under the direction of Young's. Walker died Monday, April 10 in Ferriday. He was born September 29, 1939 in Gilbert to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Walker. He was the owner of Walker Shell Service in St. Joseph, was a member of St. Joseph Baptist Church and was 32nd Mason Member of St. Joseph Lodge #309. He also served in the U.S. Army as a medic in France. He was preceded in death by his parents.
