SADIE MAY WALKER

   Services for Sadie Mae Walker, 67, of Ferriday were held
Wednesday, September 8, 1999 at 11 a.m. at St. James Baptist
Church in Frogmore, La. under the direction of Concordia 
Funeral Home.
   The Rev. Johnnie Hollins officiated.
   Burial followed at St. James Baptist Church Cemetery under
the direction of Concordia.
   She died September 3, 1999 at her residence.
   Walker was born on July 11, 1932 in Morganza, La. to Julius
and Celeste Harris Kelly.  She was a retired Nurse's Aide and
a member of St. James Baptist Church.
   She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons,
Henry and Joseph Walker.
