They further pray that a commission issue to A R MITCHELL a Notary Public in and for said Parish to take an inventory of said Succession - They further represent that the heirs belonging to said Succession are all minors and that it is to the interest of said minors that a family meeting be convoked by your Hn Court therefor - They further recommend CALEB PATE and suitable person be appointed Tutor to said minor children and EDWARD DAVIS under-Tutor - They further pray for all necessary orders in the premises and A R MITCHELL Attorney for Petitioners -Filed 03 Oct 1853. J D WEMPLE, Clerk Court Order State of Louisiana Parish of DeSoto In the 18th District Court, Clerk's Office By reason of having read the foregoing petition and the law being in favor of Petitioners it is ordered that a commission issue, directed to A R MITCHELL, Esq, a Notary Public in and for the Parish above written directing him to hold a family meeting of the relations or in default of relations, friends or relations, and friends of the minor children of SQUIRE PATE, deceased, and that another commission issue to the aforesaid Notary directing him to cause an appraisement to be made and take an inventory of all the property belonging to the Succession of SQUIRE PATE aforesaid, and it is further ordered that ______ is hereby appointed Under-Tutor of the minor children of the deceased.
