LAND OFFICE, at Natchitoches Jan. 21, 1848 
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED,That, in pursuance of Law, Levi Pressly 
DeSoto County, State of Louisiana on this day purchased of the 
Register of this Office, the Lot or East Half and the North 
West Quarter of Section 5, in Township Thirteen, of Range Fif- 
teen, containing One Hundred Eighteen and 53/100 acres, at the 
rate of One dollar and .25 cents, per acre, amounting to One 
Hundred Forty Eight dollars and .16 cents, for which the said 
Levi Pressly has made payment in full as required by law. 
      Now therefore be known, That , on presentation of this 
Certificate to the Commissioner of General Land Office, the said 
Levi Pressly shall be entitled to receive a Patent for the lot 
above described.
