DUBOIS, ET AL, AS OF 22 MARCH 1877 AS TAKEN FROM HIS SUCCESSION RECORD Dr. DuBois, born 1827 Alabama, was a physician (graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, 1850) practicing in Mansfield from 1858 until his death 22 March 1877. He practiced with Dr. Gibbes, later Dr. A.J. Beall, and on his own. He also owned an interest in, and leant his name to, DuBois & Douglas Apothecary. He was married to Elizabeth Greening, daughter of Maj. John J. Greening of DeSoto Parish, and was a nephew of Thomas J. Williams, early settler.
