The Cherokee Advance (Canton, GA) 23 June 1883 p 3
Rev. Ben T. Jenkins shot and killed Rev. Lane Bordon, at Mansfield La., last
week.  A womon (sic) was the cause of the difficulty.  Both of these eminent
divines belonged to the same church.
