Luling, Texas 1934-William Lorin Bixler, aged 58 years died 
at his home in Luling,Tx. Tuesday, Nov. 13th. 1934, and his 
body was brought to his old home in ward 3. Mr. Drewett met 
the body in Logansport, and interment was at Old Union Cem.,
near Benson, Rev. J.A. Barnes, officating. Mr. Bixler was 
raised in Desoto Par. He married Edathy Kidd, dau. of Rev. 
A.G. Kidd. He leaves two sons, Emerson G. Bixler of Beaumont,
Tx., Goodwin E. Bixler of Mirando City, Tx. and two daughters, 
Winnie H. Bixler McAnally of Midland, Tx., and Georgia Emma 
Bixler Skaar of Tulsa, Ok. and one sister, Mrs. Jim (Lydia) 
Matthews of Mansfield, La. and two brothers, Emmette Vay Bixler 
& John Gideon Bixler of Mansfield. William Lorin Bixler was the 
grandson of the late Dr. John B. Bixler of Lula in Desoto Par.
