Bixler, 69, of 4538 Moravian Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas, died early Wednesday morning in a local hospital. A native of Mansfield, Louisiana, he had lived in Mirando City, Texas until last year when he moved to Corpus Christi. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Greenhill Cemetery in Hebbronville, Tx. with Howard-Williams Funeral Home of Hebbronville in charge of arrangements. He is survived by a son, Jim Bixler of Corpus Christi, and a daughter, Mrs. J..K. Williams of Kingsville, Tx. His mother, Mrs. William Lorin (Edathy Kidd) Bixler of Denver, Colorado, and a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Georgia Emma) Skaer also of Denver, Colorado. The family requests that in lieu of the usual remembrances, donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
