Interment was in the Old Union Cem. in DeSoto Parish, Sept. 22nd. at 3 p.m. Rev. Alfred Mitchell, of Southside Baptist Chuch officiating, with interment in charge of the Drewett Funeral Home. Rev. Guin of the Presbyterian Church held the funeral services in Odessa, Texas. Mrs. McAnally was the daughter of the late William L. Bixler and Edathy Kidd Bixler, an Granddaughter of the late Dr. John B. Bixler and Georgia Allen Bixler on the paterernal side, and on the maternal side of the family her grandparents were the late Rev. A.G.Kidd. She was married to R.L. McAnally of Mathis, Texas in 1933, who survives her. They were making their home at Midland, Texas at the time of her death. Mrs. McAnnaly was born and rred i Desoto Parish, she was a graduate of the Lula High School and of Northwestern State College, and taught in the schools of Desoto for several years before moving to Texas. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Beulah on route 3 Mansfield. Surviving is her husband, her mother, Mrs. W.L. Bixler of Midland, Tx., her sister, Mrs. A.T. Skaar of Tulsa, Ok., Two brothers, Mr. E.G. Bixler of Beaumont,Tx., Mr. G.E.Bixler of Mirando City,Tx. and a daughter Miss BeeBee McAnally of Midland,Tx. Mrs. McAnnally was a faithful and devoted woman, and loved and admired by all who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn her untimely death. END
