Interment will follow in Cassel Cemetery, Sabine Parish, LA. Visitation will be 4-8 pm at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Mr. Stephens is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eloise Stephens of Grand Cane, sons, Paul Stephens of Egg Harbor, WI and Craig Stephens and wife, Alicia Quinby of Denver, CO, daughter JoAnn Stephens Rutledge and husband, Tommy of Sulphur, LA. Grandchildren, Jennifer and Kyle Rutledge, brothers, Lindsey, Edgar and Frank Stephens; a sister, Virginia Bucknum. Additional Comments: "A. J." was a 22 year resident of Grand Cane and former resident of Shreveport. He was a member of Pinecroft Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and taught a Couples Sunday School Class. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and love the outdoors.
