He was born September 9,1880. In 1903 Mr. Stewart married Miss Effie J. Byrd. N.J. Caraway Funeral Home took care of the body. He was laid to rest at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Bro. Hice, Bro. Horn, and Bro.Schmucker officiated. The deceased is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Hayden Christian of Logansport and Mrs. Edna Stewart of of Fort Worth; three sons, De Wayne, Alva and Kelly Stewart, all of this community; two brothers, D.W. Stewart of Houston and E.O. Stewart of Keatchie; two sisters,Mrs. Mary Murphy of Logansport and Mrs. Sarah Munchen of St. Louis, Mo. He leaves 4 grandchildren, Louis, June and Jane Christian and Edna Lois Stewart. The active pallbearers were W.C.
