Mrs. Ellie Ann Howell Williams                                                                                                                      
Life-Long Resident of DeSoto Parish Passes Away:                                                                                             

Mrs. Ellie Ann Howell Williams widow of the Late Jeff D. Williams 
and life long resident of DeSoto Parrish died Friday morning, August 
19, 1949, at the Curtis Clinic.  Funeral services were held Saturday, 
Aug 20 at 5 o'clock from the Drewitt Funeral Home with Dr. George A. 
Ritchey of the First Baptist Church, Mansfield, and Rev. J. P. King, 
of Antioch Baptish Church officiating.  Interment was in the the Allen 
Cemetery.  She is survived by eight children.  Mrs. H. C. Robertson, 
Mrs. Wayne Smith, Mrs. Rascoe Hamilton, Mrs. Bill James, all of 
Mansfield: Mrs D. F. Parry of Logansport, Mrs. Al H. Jones and Mrs. 
Glenn Overman, of Sulphur, and O. D. Williams of Tulsa Okla., twelve 
grand-children, six great-grandchildren, one brother Beulah Howell of 
Vivian, and three sisters, Mrs. West Williams, Mrs. C. C. Williams and 
Mrs. Ed Mathis.
