Mansfield Funeral services for Mrs Bessie W. Williams,89, mother 
of Dr LaJuana Lee of Lake Charles, will be a 2p.m.today March 7, 
in Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Dr. William Crosby and Rev. C. W. 
Calhoun will officiate. Buried will be in Highland Cemetery. 
Mrs Williams died Friday, March 5, 1993 in Lake Charles. A 
lifelong resident of Mansfield, she taught in DeSota Parish 
Schools for over 40 years. She was apioneer in progressived 
education, a member of local, state and national teacher's 
organizations, a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. In 1976 she was 
voted First 1st Lady of Beta Sigma Phi. Surviors other than her 
daughter are a grandson and four great-great grandchildren.
