Magda Babin Page 21 Succession of William Cook No. 221 Probate 19th Judicial District Court Parish of East Baton Rouge State of Louisiana In this cause now comes The Bank of Baton Rouge, administrator of the Succession of William Cook, and files herewith its final account, which it shows, is true correct. I. Your petitioner shows specifically that the mortage notes executed by W.H. Smith, were sued on, but that the said suit could not be enforced because of the fact that the deceased had no title to the property which he had sold to the said Smith. II. Your petitioner further shows that there has been filed herein the claim of the widow of the said William Cook for one thousand dollars under Civil Code Article 3252, she having been left in necessitous circumstances, which claim your petitioner considers to be well founded and has recognized to the extent of the usufruct of the balance on hand after the payment of the prior charges. III. Your petitioner further shows that the legal heirs of the said deceased are William Cook Smith, a resident of Gonzales, Louisiana, and Mrs. Avis Noble, a resident of Istrouma, Louisiana, who should be notified of the filing of this final account. Wherefore, petitioner prays that notice of the filing of this final account be published according to law and be notified to the legal heirs of the said deceased, that after all legal delays the said account be approved and homologated, and your petitioner be authorized to dispose of the funds belonging to the said succession on as shown on the tableau of distribution, and thereafter, after filing the cancelled vouchers, it be relieved of its trust. Petitioner further prays for all necessary orders and for general and equitable relief. By its Attorneys, (Signed) (?) Moye
