Evelyn L. Clement, 92, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2003. She was born Nov. 3, 1910, in Corinth, Miss., to George Allen and Harriet Ann Prather Logue. Mrs. Clement lived in Baton Rouge most of her adult life, and was recently a resident of Presbyterian Village, Little Rock. She was preceded in death by two brothers, J F Allen Logue and Everett N. Logue Sr.; and a sister, Wanda Swinney. She is survived by a son, Stewart W. Long of Little Rock; four grandsons, Donald W. Long of Santiago, Chile, Richard K. Long of Katy, Texas, David S. Long of Memphis, Tenn., and Robert S. Long of Philadelphia; three great-grandchildren, William and Andrew Long of Katy, and Christina Long of Santiago; five nieces and a nephew. Graveside service for Mrs. Clement will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Little Rock, with Stephen Boren officiating. There will be a memorial service at Presbyterian Village at 3:30 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Presbyterian Village, 510 Brookside, Little Rock, AR 72205.
