Morgan Hebert, in Abbeville, La, on Sunday evening at 2:30. His body was taken to Baton Rouge to the home of his daughter Mrs. Dave McLaughlin in Edgewood Lawn, and his funeral will be held at the Catholic church this evening at 2 o'clock. Mr. Hebert was visiting in Abbeville where he was stricken with double pneumonia which resulted in his death. He was a member of one of the oldest pioneer families of West Baton Rouge and a resident of Iberville parish for many years. For the past ten years he has been a resident of Baton Rouge. His wife preceded him to the grave several years ago. He leaves seven children. They are Mrs. Dave McLaughlin and Mrs. Percy Dupuy of Baton Rouge, Mrs. S. Bourgoyne of Covington, La., Leo Hebert of Alexandria, La., Noe Hebert of New Orleans, and Capt. Morgan Hebert of Abbeville, and Paulin Hebert of Rapides; also one sister Mrs. Leoban Patureau of New Orleans and a large number of nephews among whom are, Alburis, Joseph, Omer and J. Ferdinand Hebert of Plaquemine and Mrs. Dudley J. LeBlanc of Abbeville is one of his granddaughters.
