He was 75 and a native of Baton Rouge. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at Live Oak United Methodist Church, Watson, 9 a.m. until religious serv-ices at 11 a.m. Thursday, con-ducted by the Rev. Mark Crosby. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by wife of 50 years, Rena Ott King, Watson; a daughter, Julie King Breaux, Watson; two sons and daughters-in-law, David C. and Carol King, Baton Rouge, and Lawrence Marvin and Linda King, Houston; a brother, Harold King, Watson; six grandchildren, Angela, Anthony, Lisa and Brian King and Christopher and Jenny Breaux; and two stepgrandchildren, Mia and Carmen Castro. Preceded in death by parents, John and Leila King; and two brothers, Ernest and Sidney King. He was a lifelong member of Live Oak United Methodist Church and treasurer for 16 years, and was treasurer of Camp Istrouma. [Contributor of King family history.]
