Preceded in death by her husband, Boylston Brooks Lewis Jr.; daughter, Carol Bartlett Lewis; and parents, Minnie Edith and Samuel Henry Hennigan. Survived by her son, Boylston Brooks "B.B." Lewis III, Ruston; and two daughters, Cynthia Lewis King and husband Michael W. King, Walker, and Catherine E. "Missy" Lewis, Baton Rouge. Survived by a brother and sister-in-law, James T. and Dorothy Hennigan, DeRidder; her 16 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren were the lights of her life, Kristi King Bourgeois and husband Andy, and their children, David Ascarrunz, Cara Ascarrunz, Becca Ascarrunz and Bryon Bourgeois; Michael W. King Jr.; Samuel L. King and wife Melissa, and their sons, Warner, Jacob, Nathaniel, Garrison and Joseph; Katy King Miletello and husband Kevin, and their children, Zachary Bourque, Lauren Bourque, Madeline Miletello and Alaina Miletello; Daniel J. King and wife Elizabeth, and their children, Ashleigh, Andrew and Evan; Sarah King Laborde and husband, Lane, and their daughters, Ava and Laura; Carrie King Freeman, and her son, Tristan; Becca King, and her daughter, Jilyan; Benjamin King and wife Anne; David King and wife Traci; Tracey Lewis Bishara and husband Victor; Amanda Lewis Townsend and husband Monty, and their children, Lauren, Brandon, Aiden and Jackson; Wynne Dee Lewis Rinicker, and son, Garrett; Irene Brooks "Cissy" Lewis; Boylston Brooks "Bart" Lewis IV and wife April; and James C. "Hank" Lewis. Marjorie was born in Saline. She graduated from high school in Bienville and continued her education throughout her life, with degrees from Charity Hospital School of Nursing, Shreveport (R.N.), Loyola University, Chicago (A.D.), Northeast Louisiana University, now the University of Louisiana-Monroe, (B.S.). and LSU (M.S.). She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in which she served faithfully in many ways through the years. Special thanks are due her in-home caregiver, Joyce Marie Azard, her for tender and attentive service for almost four years. The family is also grateful to Dr. William Moore, Dr. Joseph Deumite, the fifth floor staff of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge Homecare and Hospice of Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, July 22, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, July 23, from noon until religious service at 2 p.m. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., at a later date.
