Eleanor M. Zerangue Manning, age 79, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 3:29 
p.m. She was a native of Baton Rouge and lived in New Orleans prior to 
Hurricane Katrina. At the time of her death, she was living in St. 
Francisville. Survived by her two sisters, Lorraine Zerangue and spouse 
Charles R. David, of Erwinville and Arlene Zerangue and spouse Alton J. 
Miller, of Reserve; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two 
sons, Dennis Marvin Manning and Kerry Mark Manning; parents, Clifton M. and 
Leonora Amedee Zerangue; a brother, Russell A. and spouse Mary C. Zerangue; 
niece, Lisa Miller Massell; maternal and paternal grandparents as well as a 
large family of aunts and uncles. A memorial service was held for her in the 
town of St. Francisville.
