She was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, July 23, from 9 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at noon, conducted by the Rev. James Alexander and her grandson, the Rev. John David Stewart. Graveside service at Liberty Cemetery in Liberty, Miss., at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Survived by two daughters and a son- in-law, Janet Dozier, of California City, Calif., and Martha and Neil Stewart, of Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Carolynn McGehee, of Pierre Part; 14 grandchildren, Kay Harper, Suzanne Travenski, Linda Dozier, Michael, Steven and the Rev. John David Stewart, Kellie Hodges, Mark and Geary Williams, Terri Hodges, Tracie Melville, Johnny and Kyle McGehee and Allison Theriot; 26 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, James M. McGehee; two daughters, Betty Williams and Sandra Turner; parents, Jonas and Florence Shaw McGehee; and two brothers, Parnell and Grady Causey. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. She was a 62-year member of Grace Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Grace Presbyterian Church or to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank all the caregivers and staff at Oak Wood Village.
