Tyler Dies Suddenly This Morning The community was shocked at the sudden and untimely death of Mrs. Louis I Tyler, wife of Dr Louis .I Tyler who passed away suddenly this morning at 8 o'clock at her home in Lake Park. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon from the First Presbyterian church by Dr. H.H. Thompson at 5 o'clock Mrs. Tyler was apparently in the best of health to the time of her death , and was out driving last evening. It is believed that she died of heart trouble. The deceased was in the prime of youn? womanhood.Although a resident of Baton Rouge only 4 years she had won many friend and was loved by all who new her, representing the highest type noble Christian character, by her unselfish spirit and amiable traits. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a worker in church circles and other welfare work. She war before her marriage , Miss Katherine McDonald, Amite City, and was a ward of the late Judge Reed, of Amite. The deceased leaves besides her husband, a little son, Louis Jr. and a host of friends, here and elsewhere in the state to mourn her death. The deepest sympathy of many friends is extended to Dr. Tyler and little Louis, and other relatives in the hour of their great loss. MRS L. I. TYLER DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME TODAY Funeral Services from First Presbyterian Church Tomorrow. Mrs. Louis I Tyler, wife of Dr Louis .I Tyler died suddenly at 8 o'clock Friday at her residence at 100 Lake Park.Death is believed to have been coused by heart trouble. Funeral services will be conducted from the First Presbyterian church, of which she was a member, Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock.Services will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. H.H. Thompson. pastor of the church. Burial will be in the Roselawn cametery Mrs. Tyler was apparently in the best of heath until Friday morning when she complained that she was feeling badly. A few minutes later she sunk into unconsciousness and died defore another phy?icia? could reach her. Before her m?????e she was Miss Katherine McDonald She was born in Greensburg 33 years ago. Her father, John McDonald, and her mother are both dead.H? r mother died wh?n she was young and she was pr?ctically raised in the home of Judge and Mrs. Robert R. Reid ?n Amite City and in the home of an aunt, Mrs. C. P. Terry, of Kentwood. She was a cousin of Mrs. Reid. She was married on October 13,191? to Dr. Louis I. Tyler. To this union was born one son,Louis I. Tyler, Jr. While in Baton Rouge she has been a member of the First Presbyterian church and an active worker in Circle ? of the Woman's Auxiliary of that church. Beside her husband and son, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Walter Sledge, Abbeville; Mrs. Roselie Bennett Ar?ola; and Miss Lilliam McDonald, Greensburg, and three brothers,Berwick McDonald Erath La ., M.C. Port Arthur, Tex., and Mason McDonald of this city.
