He was an employe of LSU Body is at Gilbert's Funeral Home with visiting hours from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Religious services will be held at Elm Grove Baptist Church at 3.30 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. J.R. Williams. Interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. Active pallbearer are Adolph Byrd,James Green, Dennis Pedescleaux,William Smoith, Albert Weatherspoon, and David Wilson. Honorary pall- bearers are members of the Board of Deacons, Board of Usher, members of Calvary Benevolent Society and members of Lee's Benevolent Society.He is survived by his wife, Mrs Viola H. Palmer and one sisters, Mrs.Phylis Palmer, and one nephew, O.K. Allen Woods, all of Baton Rouge, He was a member of the Usher Board, Calvary Benevolent and Lee's Benevolent Society.
