The Advocate
A retired carpenter from Southern University, died Thursday, August 21, 2008.  
He was 91.  A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Clinton.

Visitation at Halls Celebration Center on Monday Aug 25 from 9am till 
regigious services at 11am.  Internment in Port Hudson National Cemetery in 
Zachory.

Survived by his adopted daughter Jean.  5 nieces, a special friend Patricia 
and two grandchildren. and his godchild.

preceded in death by his wife Hattie M. Thomas; three sisters; and three 
brothers.

he was a member of New St John Baptist Church.  The Rev Donald Ruth, Pastor 
and American Legion Post 502.

Hall Davis and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
