St James Episcopal church presented an attractive scene at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon when Miss Ada Elise Gourrier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Gourrier., was married to Mr. Ovide Leonard, son of Mrs.Ovide Leonard, of St. Francisville. Rev. Royal Tucker, rector of the church, officiated.Prior to the ceremony Dr. Edwin Whitaker at the organ, presented a beautiful musical program. The altar and chancel were decorated with white flowers and ferns, forming an effective background for the wedding party. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was a picture of youthful loveliness in am afternoon dress of brown crepe,?ccordion pleaded.Her becoming hat was of the same shade. She carried an old-fashioned bouquet of roses. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs.Leonard, that for a wedding trip to Biloxi in on their return will have an apartment on Lafayette street. The young couple or members of prominent families and their wedding will claim interest throughout the state. Mr. Leonard is a graduate of Louisiana State University and a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. His bride is a popular member of the younger set in both town and college circles
