Written: July 2, 1839

The petition of Evaline E. Oliphant: She first married Henry Latting in Chicot 
Co. Ark. and he died in 1833. She then married James B Maulding as Mrs. Evalin 
Latting on Jan. 9, 1834. James B. Maulding died Jan. 6, 1939 in Carroll 
Parish, La, that she has a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Latting issue of her 
marriage with her first husband Henry Latting. Elizabeth Ann, who is a minor 
of age nine years the 10th of December 1840. Evaline E. Maulding ask the Court 
of Probate to be  appointed as Natural Tutor and Jesse Blue act as undertutor 
to the said minor.          signed Eveline E. Maulding

Court of Probates let her be appointed Tutor and Jesse Blue act as undertutor 
to the said minor.
