The new School Board for East Carroll was appointed Thursday of last
week and is composed of the following gentlemen: John Riley,
S.H. Mobberly. W.H. Benjamin. J.C. Bass, V. Montogomery, T.J. Powell,
J.S. Milliken, and H.L. Newcomb.  A goodly board, embracing an array
of prominent and intelligent citizens that will devote their earnest
efforts to the best interests of education in our parish.
