Carroll Banner- Lake Providence, La.
We chronicle with sadness the death of Mrs. J.H. Kent, which took place at 
Natchez, Miss. last Monday night.  She had been quite ill for at least a 
month, and her husband took her to Natchez for treatment.  She was the 
daughter of Mrs. Geo. Foster, and was dearly beloved by her.  Ser infant child 
died only a few hours before she passed away, and the father has a double load 
to bear.  We deeply sympathize with her family and relatives, and hope that 
their grief may be modified by a feeling of resignation to the will of Him who 
doeth all things for the best.
