COX FUNERAL HOME - May 09, 2009
James Benjamin Messenger

Funeral services for James Benjamin "J.B." Messenger, age 73, of Transylvania, 
Louisiana will be 2:00PM, Monday, May 11, 2009 at the First Assembly of God 
Church, Lake Providence with Rev. J.L. Key officiating. Interment will be in 
the Providence Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox 
Funeral Home of Lake Providence.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00PM - 9:00PM and Monday from 8:00AM - 12 
noon at Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William N. Messenger and Bessie E. 
Hill Messenger.

J.B. is survived by his wife, Peggy Messenger of Transylvania, Louisiana; son 
and daughter-in-law, Joey Glen Messenger and Donna Messenger of Magnolia, 
Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Diane Sullivan and Jeff Sullivan of 
Cypress, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Brandon Messenger, Brittany Messenger, Andrew 
Sullivan and Tyler Sullivan; sister and brother-in-law, Audrey Kelley and Don 
Kelley of Simi Valley, California.

Pallbearers will be Brad Johnson, Gregg Johnson, Chris Johnson, Randy Dukes, 
Joe Butler, Ronald Pippin, David Fortenberry, John Murray.

Honorary pallbearers will be Artis Coleman, Kincaide Key, Alvin "Fuzz" 
Johnson, Billy Jack Murray, Jack Schaffer, Curtis Parker, James Parker, Bennie 
Long.
